St. Anthony School is Maui’s Catholic school committed to educating the whole child—mind, body, and spirit—in a Christ-centered learning environment. Serving students from Preschool through Grade 8, we provide a strong academic foundation while recognizing that every child learns and grows differently. Our multi-level learning model allows teachers to meet students where they are academically rather than limiting instruction to a single grade-level expectation. Through small class sizes and a favorable student to-teacher ratio, teachers are able to identify individual strengths and areas for growth, provide early intervention when needed, and challenge students who are ready to advance beyond grade-level standards.
Students receive strong instruction in core academic subjects while also benefiting from hands-on, collaborative, and real-world learning experiences. Enrichment opportunities in areas such as fine arts, technology, athletics, Hawaiian language and culture, and faith formation encourage students to discover their gifts, develop confidence, and find joy and purpose in learning.
At St. Anthony, multi-level learning means meeting each child where they are and helping them grow from there—academically, spiritually, socially, and personally. Our goal is not simply to teach a grade level, but to develop each student to be their individual best for the world.
Throughout its 178-year existence, St. Anthony School has remained committed to excellence in education – adapting to change, and integrating new and innovative teaching/learning techniques while honoring the tradition and legacy that our Maui community has come to know and love.
Message from the Head of School
Aloha and Welcome!
It is with great joy and deep gratitude that I introduce myself as the new Principal of St. Anthony School, here in the heart of our beautiful Maui community.
At St. Anthony School, we are more than a school—we are a faith-filled 'ohana where each child is nurtured academically, spiritually, and personally. Rooted in the teachings of Jesus Christ, our Catholic identity is at the center of all we do. God is lovingly integrated into every subject and every part of the day, guiding our students to grow in both wisdom and faith.
As we begin this exciting new chapter, I’m thrilled to announce two inspiring initiatives launching this school year:
- Our new Sports Academy, which encourages physical excellence, teamwork, and discipline.
- A Hawaiian Studies Program, honoring and celebrating the rich culture, language, and history of our island home.
We believe in the power of small class sizes to provide personalized attention, meaningful relationships, and a supportive environment where every student is seen, known, and valued. Open enrollment is now available, and we invite families seeking a Christ-centered education to come and experience all that St. Anthony has to offer.
