Wendy’s High School Heisman. This is an opportunity to be recognized for participating in at least one sport and demonstrating leadership in our school/community. Students need to go to www.wendysheisman.com and click on Students/Parents. To Register and/or to view a complete list of program awards please visit the website. Deadline for completion is October 3, 2010.
Danforth Scholars Program/ Washington University (Missouri): -Full and partial tuition for a student who would like to attend Washington University whose life choices are guided by personal integrity, selflessness, a commitment to community and a dedication to leadership and academic excellence. Interested students need to see Ms. Martin to be nominated. Deadline: Received by October 15, 2010.
Horatio Alger Association Scholarship. Eligibility includes financial need, min GPA 2.0, involvement in co-curricular and community activities. Deadline: October 30, 2010. Apply online at: www.horatioalger.org/scholarships/apply
Coca-Cola Scholars Program. High School seniors can apply August 1-October 31, 2010. Awards will be given to well-rounded young men and women who have demonstrated leadership in school, commitment to the community. Minimum of 3.00 GPA at the end of their junior year of high school. www.coca-colascholars.org. Deadline October 31, 2010.
2010 Engineering Day-College of Engineering, University of Hawaii Manoa Campus, Honolulu, HI: Saturday September 25, 2010, 8:30-12:00. Registration forms will soon be available in the Counseling Office.
Gromet Foundation Scholarship-Scholarship for financially disadvantaged students who excel academically. This scholarship awards $1500. Annually for students attending Hawaii Universities and $5000 for students attending mainland universities. More info at www.grometfoundation.org. Deadline November 15, 2010
